At Arzikin Noma, we are committed to driving positive change in Nigeria’s agricultural sector. Today, we are thrilled to announce our groundbreaking partnership with IDH – The Sustainable Trade Initiative to revolutionize the sorghum value chain in Southwest Nigeria.
This partnership marks a major milestone in our mission to transform agriculture by empowering smallholder farmers and promoting sustainable farming practices. By working alongside IDH, a global leader in sustainable trade and agriculture, we aim to unlock new opportunities for farmers, agribusinesses, and the entire sorghum supply chain.
Through this collaboration, we will focus on: Improving farmer livelihoods by increasing productivity and income. Enhancing market access to create better trading opportunities for smallholder farmers. Promoting sustainable agricultural practices to ensure long-term soil health and food security. Providing technical training and support to boost farm efficiency and output.
The Sorghum Value Chain Transformation Project is designed to empower farmers with the tools, knowledge, and market connections they need to thrive. By equipping farmers with the right resources and training, we are fostering a resilient and profitable agricultural ecosystem that benefits both farmers and consumers.

At Arzikin Noma, we believe that strategic partnerships like this will harness the full potential of Nigeria’s agricultural sector. By strengthening the sorghum value chain and creating sustainable opportunities for farmers, we are contributing to a more food-secure and economically stable Nigeria.
